Pick two to four islands and lay them over each other on the nine metrics. The point is not the average but where they diverge, and that divergence is written out as a number in the spread column below.

Pick 2–4 islands to overlay across the nine metrics. At four, colour alone can no longer separate the series, so the view splits into small multiples.

Radius is the 0–100 normalised score and is fixed regardless of the selection. An axis with no value is left unconnected: a missing score is never drawn as a zero.

How to read this view
  • The panel median is taken over whichever of the twelve panel islands have a value for that metric.
  • Missing is not zero. On the radar an axis with no value breaks the line; in the table it reads as no data. The polygon closes and takes a fill only when all nine metrics are present.
  • CVI runs the other way: a higher number means more vulnerable. Because its direction is opposite to every other score here, its cells carry no shading.
  • Coverage (for example 2/3) is how many of the metric's base indicators actually exist for that island. A score built on 1 of 3 must not be read with the same weight as one built on 3 of 3.
